Kits are provided by the Pack at no cost in December
By now, you should have received a kit at a meeting - if you still need one, please email pack297rlc@gmail.com
Cars must weigh 5 oz or less (will be weighed at check-in)
Do not add width or length to the car (will be measured at check-in)
Cars must conform to the official rules provided by our Council
There are several adult leaders willing to assist if your Scout needs help cutting, shaping, or otherwise building their car

Similar to lat year, we'll have an open class - build a second car that doesn't conform to the rules!
Everyone is welcome to participate in the open class (Scouts, parents, siblings)
Cars must not pose a danger to attendees or the track... if in doubt, reach out to pack297rlc@gmail.com
Additional kits for the open class can be purchased from the Scout Shop
Check-in will start approximately 60 minutes prior to the start of the race
Your car will be inspected to confirm that it conforms to the official rules
It's in your interest to check-in early in case your car needs adjustments (too heavy, etc)
You may leave after check-in and return for the race
The race will last approximately 2 hours
Each car will race in multiple heats
There will be several awards, including:
1st, 2nd, 3rd - Blue Division
1st, 2nd, 3rd - Gold Division
